HalloweenTIme at Disneyland!!!

This is by far my longest post. EVER.  But it will give you a small glimpse at just how much I love this place.  I have always dreamed of going to Disneyland during Halloween time and this year it happened!  Seriously, does it get any better than Disneyland and Halloween.. I don't think so.  My parents were able to come with us.  We were so glad they were mouseketeers with us!

Baylor is not a thrill seeker.  Like, I've only recently got him to ride the carousel at the zoo on the peacock because it's a chair and doesn't move... so I really talked everything up and just hoped for the best.  Days before we left, he decided that he wanted to ride Dumbo first BUT he wasn't going to make it go up and down and I had to ride with him.  Russ and I both got to ride with him and after about 2 seconds we were flying high.  He let loose and had to ride it again.  He LOVED it!  YAY!!!
Grandma JuJu and B on his second flight.
 My Dad took Lexi girl
Then we hit up the carousel which may I remind you, doesn't happen AND once he tried it HE LOVED IT!  Double yay!  There wasn't much of a line for this so he just got to keep hopping on.  It went from hold your arms around me tight to I can do it myself mom.  AND THAT made my trip.

He chose Halloween Mickey ears this trip :)
Russ was naughty and let Baylor drive autotopia.  Good thing they have the medians!
We made the last day that It's a Small World was open before they closed it for Christmas prep.  Obviously a fan favorite...
And by some small miracle I found Cinderella and was second in line.  If you remember, I have a Cinderella Wall of Fame in my classroom and I wanted Alexis to be on it :)  She was so cute with her.

Our attempt at a castle pic was a little rough LOL- it's not the easiest to get B to hold still anymore... maybe because he's a 3 year old boy... ;)
But my little princess will usually smile for me

Day 2 we hit up California Adventure.  Like usual, Lex was happy as a bug.
We met Flik, and although I got Baylor to start riding things, he wasn't about to meet any characters and this year he could run hahaha.

He loved the Tuck and Roll Buggies
And this is baby tiger... poor baby tiger that is one of B's sidekicks.  He had been hauling him around everywhere for weeks.  He goes through phases with different animals, but baby tiger got lost this day :(  Every time he would ask about him, I would distract him and eventually bought him Patch the puppy that did a fabulous job distracting him.  There were a few times that he talked about him.  And on one ride he said I hear baby Tiger crying for me... heartbreaking :(  BUT we got some good replacements, I'm just sad no one turned him in.
And then we finally made it to the one and only CARS LAND!  It's always fun to see something new!
B LOVES Lightning McQueen so he wanted a picture with him... KA-CHOW!
Everything was made in true Disney fashion, and exact to the movie.  So magical.

Our best attempt at tractor tipping
You want ice cream for lunch, WHY NOT...
We met Donald!  And B ditched the line right when we got up front bahaha
 California SCREAMIN'!!!
And lucky for us, there is King Triton's Carousel in this park so we were all in heaven.  So many different sea creatures to ride.

With a lot of talking and bribery with a Buzz blaster, I got Baylor on Toy Story Mania and of course, he loved it too.  This is us mad because we had to wait in line so long.

Day 3 we hit up California adventure first to try to get on the Cars ride.  The wait was almost 2 hours but we learned a secret and went as single riders.  Genius.  There was a separate line for single riders and we got on in about 15 minutes.  It was really cute.

After a few more carousel cruises, we headed back to Disneyland to ride our favorites one last time.

When I see an elephant fly!!!
A twirl on the teacups.. another favorite!
Russ has a picture by this door when he's little, so we've got one with B both times we've been there.  I can't believe how much he's grown!
They change Space Mountain into some creepy ghost ride for Halloween.  Russ screamed the ENTIRE ride because he was determined to be screaming in the picture BAHAHA- it was at the very end but he succeeded.  So funny.
Miss chunkalicious is barely fitting in this thing anymore!

I knew my friend Lynsey was going to be there on our last day but I didn't think there was any way we would run into each other BUT look who we found!
I decided Lex NEEDED a picture with Mickey for her first trip so we bit the bullet and waited the 30 minutes and I forced Baylor to be in the picture.  I don't see you Mickey, I don't see you.  Hilarious, for the boy obsessed with the mouse.

 I love this little girl
My Dad had to fly home a day early so B got to have a sleepover in my mom's room.  This is how I found him.  So sweet.  And I'll post about the zoo, where we got "baby cheetah" later.
And I never got a pic of Alexis in her first mouse ears at the park, but she was happy to model them at the hotel

 LOVE THEM!
We had SO much fun!!!  Next time we go in October, we'll hit up Mickey's trick-or-treat party.  By the time I learned about it, it was sold out.  I love making memories with my kiddos, especially when it's at the happiest place on earth!  Until next time Mickey!
