Hitting the Slopes

Since we found out we were pregnant with Baylor, Russ has looked forward to the day he could take him skiing. Russ absolutely LOVES to ski and was so excited to take B out for the first time. His first trip out was a week after Alexis was born. I wasn't sure how he would do, but he had a ball! They've since gone a few more times and enjoyed every minute. I'm hoping I get to go see him in action before the season is over.

The icing on the cake... hot chocolate and brunch at Stein's! I believe his lunch consisted of lemon cake and lemon cake :) And look at his cute ski boots- they were the smallest size.

Here's one of the videos of B cruising down the hill. He doesn't like doing the "pizza" because it makes him go slower. He likes to go fast- that's Baylor in a nut shell!

Be Mine

We had a fun Valentine's this year! We drove all over the valley delivering treats to some of our favorite people. Our "hooked on you" boxes were full of gummy worms. Russ got to ring the doorbell and run and I was the getaway driver. Alexis luckily slept and Baylor just thought it was funny :)

Lexi's new dress was so cute that I had to put it on her and take some pics of the kids.

Baylor only wanted me to take a picture of him kissing Alexis...

But he would kiss her so fast and move that I couldn't even get a picture of that...

Happy 1st Valentine's Day Alexis!

Russ spoiled me with a Kindle Fire this year. I can't wait to download some books and read again. I imagine that will happen in a few months, when I don't immediately fall asleep when I hit the pillow!

So I guess I have just one question..

Will you be our Valentine?!

SHE-RA

Remember She-Ra, the Princess of Power!!!

When Alexis was getting her newborn pictures taken my sister kept laughing about how strong she was and nicknamed her She-Ra. Now every time she does something that's what we call her :) But what better princess to be than the princess of power, RIGHT?!

So 2 days after she turned 2 months, I had her on the floor in her room playing and the little rascal pushed up (being the true She-Ra that she is) but then she RoLLeD OvEr!!! So I went and grabbed the camera and luckily she did it again. She-Ra also cooperates ;)

She came. She rolled. She conquered.

So Blessed

Our sweet Alexis was blessed last Sunday, Feb. 5. Russ gave her an amazing blessing and we were fortunate enough to have a lot of our friends and family there with us. She looked like a doll in the beautiful dress her great-grandma Verla crocheted for her. How special is that?!

We had a luncheon afterwards at my parent's home. We were pretty squished after Baylor's blessing so we asked my parents if we could party there this time ;)

We had over 50 people come! We were so happy to have so many people come to share the special day with us. I'm sad I didn't get pictures of everyone, but it was crazy trying to get everything ready and be everywhere! Here are some of Lexi's guests...

The superbowl is like my Dad's Christmas. It is one of my favorite days of the year with him.

We gave him this Fathead of the NFL sign for Christmas. He doesn't have a specific team- he just LOVES football!

It was an amazing day.

I feel so blessed to have amazing family and friends and that so many were able to share the special day with us. Alexis has brought us so much joy already. She is the sweetest little baby, we love her SO much.
